AIC Smart Campus Lab Lounge

The brief was to create an identity for a new AI innovation hub that would feel credible inside a research institution while still being visually distinct enough to draw people in. The challenge was bridging the gap between academic rigour and the kind of atmosphere that makes a space feel worth entering.

The solution was a high-contrast system anchored in a precise geometric mark, extended through 3D environment renders and video production that defined the physical lab lounge before it was built. Every element, from the typeface pairing to the lighting direction in the renders, was chosen to communicate both technical precision and human warmth.

The renders doubled as an internal pitch tool, helping stakeholders commit to the build-out before construction began. The identity now runs across the lab lounge signage, the public site, and event collateral, giving the centre a single coherent voice whether encountered online, at a conference, or on campus.
